Encoded Designs to Publish The Streets of Avalon
Buffalo, NY – August 15, 2017 – Encoded Designs, a tabletop game publishing company, announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with Brett Bloczynski of Gaming & BS to publish The Streets of Avalon, a low fantasy city adventure setting.
“I’ve always loved the stories of Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser, city based adventures where the magic was more mystical than magical, and the horrors of Howard’s Conan stories,” said Encoded Designs Lead Developer Chris Sniezak. “The Streets of Avalon hits all those sweet spots for me.”
Brett had this to say about the setting. “Avalon is a street level noir style fantasy setting where characters work to survive, keep their families and neighborhood strong, and deal with dark horrors and mysteries that seek to break them down. The stories are local in scope, but the impact of their choices shape the world.”
Encoded Designs is planning to bring the book to Kickstarter in the fall of 2017.
More information and previews for The Streets of Avalon will appear on www.encodeddesigns.com in the near future. Until then you can listen to an actual play of the game using D&D 5th edition on Misdirected Mark Productions. The entirety of the first story arc has been completed and released for your listening pleasure.
